Globejump is a browser game made by Barkbabark, a brand of Tidy Machines LLC. This page says what the game keeps on your device, what it sends to its own server, and which other services your browser talks to while you play (updated 4 November 2026).
No account, no ads, no trackers
You play without signing up. The game sets no cookies of its own, shows no ads and runs no analytics or tracking scripts from anyone else.
On your device
Your games, streaks, levels, quests, settings, map votes and the names you type for duels are kept in this browser's local storage, under keys that start with globejump. They stay on this device until you clear the site's data. Save Progress to a File writes them to a file you keep; nothing is uploaded when you do. If you add Globejump to your home screen, the browser also keeps a copy of the game's own code so it opens quickly.
What the game sends to its server
The game's server runs on Cloudflare. Its requests carry no cookie and no account. Like any web host, Cloudflare handles your IP address to answer a request; the game's own code does not read or keep it.
/api/crowd: on today's daily, your guess for each round, rounded to about a kilometer, and its distance from the answer, so players see faint dots of the day's guesses and how close they came; no device or player id is sent, and the guesses are dropped after three days./api/play: counts of games started, finished, left, rematched and shared, with play time, per day and mode, with no identity and no guesses. It also counts visits and the first steps of a visit (today's first round shown, a first tap, a round or the day finished, a share, the Pass sheet opened), each once per page load, with the short tag a posted link carries (?s=) when you arrived through one, and whether a real tap had landed yet, so people are told apart from bots. These are daily counts; nothing ties them to you or your device./api/votes: your up or down vote on a map, added to a count./api/homeab: a daily count of which home screen was shown and whether a game started from it./api/dueland/api/party: for duels and parties on a challenge link, a random seat code your device made, the name you type and your round points. Everyone on the same link sees the names and points, and a link is dropped after 30 days without play./api/match: for Quick Duel, a random device code (the server keeps only a scrambled hash of it), the name you type, your rating and your win and loss counts, and the match while it is played; your opponent sees your name and scores./api/imagery: after your first tap, asks for the street viewer's key each time a new street loads. The server counts how many street loads it allowed today, against a daily budget, and keeps nothing else./api/shop,/api/checkout,/api/restoreand/api/polar: the Globejump Pass, once it is on sale. Your device makes a random holder code at checkout. When you pay, Polar tells the server about the order so the Pass reaches that holder, and the server keeps your Polar customer number so your license key can restore the Pass on another device, and the game never sees your card./api/redeem: if you bought the Pass with USDC, the unlock code you were given and your device's random holder code, so the Pass opens on this device. The server keeps which holder codes an order has opened, to cap how many devices one code unlocks, and never logs the code.- A shared result link (
/d) names a day and five round scores so chat apps can preview it, and nothing is kept.
Other services your browser contacts
- Google Street View (
www.google.comandmaps.googleapis.com): the streets you play in come from Google, which receives your IP address and may use its own cookies, under the Google Privacy Policy. - Map tiles from OpenFreeMap (
tiles.openfreemap.org), or OpenStreetMap (tile.openstreetmap.org) when the first cannot load. They receive the map areas you look at and your IP address. - Map code: Leaflet from
cdnjs.cloudflare.comand MapLibre fromcdn.jsdelivr.net. - The Inter typeface from Google Fonts (
fonts.googleapis.comandfonts.gstatic.com). - Polar (
polar.sh,api.polar.sh), only if you buy the Pass: you pay on Polar's checkout, and Polar handles your email and payment under its privacy policy. The Pass can also be bought with USDC on Tidy Machines' own checkout page, which you open by choice. The purchase itself is also covered by Barkbabark's purchase notice.
